That's what I'm here for. Every wedding. Every elopement. Every couple that comes to me with their story. Let's document your day and create some stunning images that drop jaws and...I don't know, melt faces (lovingly).
First off, holy smokes, thanks for being here and considering me. Second of all, congrats! Getting hitched is a major milestone. It's pretty fucking amazing. And as your *potential but hopeful* photographer, your photos (and your day) deserve to be documented with the same love and care and passion that you've poured into your relationship.
The COMMITMENT! THE LOVE! Ah, it's so worth professionally third-wheeling as a photographer to document it all.
In 10, 20, 30, 80 years (ok, maybe not 80), you'll flip open your album to look back on your day. And while things like the cake will be gone (I hope), you'll still have photos of everything, and everyone, that made your day so wonderful.
Look at you, still reading. I'm gonna cry.
I’m pretty laid back, a bit of a goofball, and take my work very seriously. Because it's your story, after all, and it deserves the absolute best. From the moment your inquiry lands in my inbox, I'm brainstorming how we can best tell the story of your day.
As a film grad, I spent a lot of time watching and analyzing movies. Still do! And so I get a lot of my inspiration from films, color theory, and cinematic composition. I think about light the same way a filmmaker would. Alongside that, I also value the human connection that comes with creating what I do. I see every couple I work with as friends. Because comfort, especially on your big day, makes for better photos.
Victoria and Grayson got married during the pandemic and never had photos taken. So a year later, they dressed up in their wedding attire for a day of photos.
Katie & Adam wanted a quiet, intimate ceremony in October on the hill of their family property. They added extra time to getting ready for details that couldn't be rushed, and saved the end of the night for after-dark portraits.
Kayla & Nic wanted photos that were different from everyone else's, and so they gave me full creative freedom to experiment. They had a small wedding at their family's lakehouse with their closest loved ones.
Lauren and Morgan opted for an early morning ceremony, and then had guests leave and return for an evening reception. But the middle of the day was dedicated to exploring Vermont-related activities.
If you're ready to move forward, I’d love to work together!

Comfort comes first
Most people feel a little awkward in front of the camera at first. That’s normal and totally ok! You don’t need to know what to do or how to act. I'll direct you as needed, and let me know if you ever need more guidance. I like giving couples space and time to interact and love how they usually do together. I've found that it allows for the most comfortable/natural photos.
1. Choose a package: The Short Story (2.5 hours), The Chapter (5 hours), or The Full Story (8 hours).
2. Inquire: Reach out, and fill me in! Who you are, your date, location, and what you have in mind for your day.
3. Prepare together: We’ll shape a timeline that makes sense for your coverage length, including ceremony, portraits, lighting, travel between locations, and any priorities you have.
4. The part where you get married: I bring the camera. You get married. I take photos. We all eat cake.
5. Gallery delivery: I’ll curate and edit your images and deliver a full online gallery, ready to download, share, and print. *Info about sneak peeks below in the FAQ's.
A passionately creative and artistic approach.
"Martin is a true artist and storyteller! We hired him to do our photos on our wedding day. He was professional, patient, attentive, and passionately creative in his approach. Our photos are STUNNING! 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Martin for capturing the magic of our day!"
I put a lot of care into the images we create together, and I also care about being transparent about what it costs. These packages reflect the time, planning, and editing required to craft images that'll last 100+ years.

After chatting and making sure I'm available, a signed contract and a 25% retainer officially reserve your date. Once those are in, you’re on my calendar. The remaining balance is due on the day of the wedding/elopement. I accept cash, online card payment, checks, and venmo.
Still reach out! I cover travel up to 4 hours away, even if that means booking myself lodging. If you’re beyond that, additional travel fees apply. I’m happy to talk through the details and see what makes sense for the location you have in mind. *I'm not available for international.
I typically bring an assistant, but not a second photographer by default. A second photographer can be booked for an additional rate. They are always a professional. I also occasionally bring photography students to shadow, but only with your approval ahead of time.
Sneak peeks are available by request. I'll be transparent: I don’t love rushing through edits the days after a wedding, because those initial edits may not reflect the finalized versions. If you are ok with this and the fact that the edits may change, then previews are available.
Yes. We’ll talk through your plans and shape a rough timeline around your coverage and vision. I typically prefer to do this over a phone or video call. Lighting will be our biggest consideration for when and where things happen, plus travel time, and how long to set aside for portraits.
I recommend keeping three copies of your full gallery after I deliver your photos: one on your computer, one on an external hard drive, and one in a cloud service. I archive sessions when I can, but hard drives fail over time and I can’t guarantee permanent storage.
